If you send a post via gmail, you won't get a copy of the original post, even though it goes through fine.

That I know but I also was not showing up on ruby-forum.com / rubyonrails list. Usually the posts from here show up there.

same is happening to me via gmail, some messages are not being posted to the list.. I find that if I use the groups.google.com interface, all the messages are posted.. But messages sent via gmail are sporadic.
