I'm fairly new to ROR. Does anyone know of a good rich text editor to use? Is fckeditor good or is their a better one to use?

I’ve used tinymce on past projects. It’s a pain in the ass but, if you need to integrate uploading images and really customize things it might be the best way to go. AFAIK it has many more plugins than fck and their forums are pretty active.

TinyMCE editor is also a good option. Plugin supports image & media upload alongwith YML configuration for plugins http://github.com/sandipransing/rails_tiny_mce
