Hi,

i plan to deploy my first site based on ruby on rails. That’s why i am looking for a german host with good support for RoR. I have read a lot about hosts like dreamhost or site5, but never any recommendation for a german host. Can somebody point me to appropriate hosts?

bye, Tino

No recommendation, but there is a list in the wiki: http://wiki.rubyonrails.com/rails/pages/RailsWebHosts#Europe

Thank you Thomas. I didn't know that list. I will check out the hosts listed there.

Your experience matches with those i read about DreamHost in this mailing list. Well, i should get in touch how i can arrange to use a non german host for my site. Seems like there is not a choice.
