Very slow on Apache 2.2

Hello,

Anybody experienced very slow on Apache 2.2?

I use latest ruby/rails (as of feb 16, 2008) and follow installation link (http://wiki.rubyonrails.org/rails/pages/ HowToCreateVirtualHostsForRailsAppllications). When running on port 3000, things seem fine. But when I set it to run with Apache, it extremely slows. The application is just some static scaffold I build from tutorial.(http://www.rubyonrails.org)
