The old "index.html" Ruby Rails is coming out of nowhere?

Happy New Year, I haven't written to this forum in a long time because I thought the painful learning process was behind me. Evidently not, for when I start a new Rails 2.3.5 application and rename the old \public\index.html to something else another index.htm GHOST appears from nowhere. It's not in my project at all but shows up on the browser at http://localhost:3000/ Am I in the 'Twighlight Zone' or did someone change where that ubiquitous Ruby on Rails introduction screen comes from? Most humbly appreciate any light on this subject. David

Happy New Year,

I haven’t written to this forum in a long time because I thought the

painful learning process was behind me.

Evidently not, for when I start a new Rails 2.3.5 application and

rename the old \public\index.html to something else another index.htm

GHOST appears from nowhere. It’s not in my project at all but shows up

on the browser at http://localhost:3000/

Am I in the ‘Twighlight Zone’ or did someone change where that

ubiquitous Ruby on Rails introduction screen comes from?

Most humbly appreciate any light on this subject.

David
