A few of you may have seen the recent blogstorm about trademarks surrounding "Rails", "Ruby on Rails", and the rails logo.

Since those are owned by DHH, could we have an 'official' document regarding acceptable usage? Something along the lines of

  http://www.apple.com/legal/trademark/guidelinesfor3rdparties.html

There are many sites out there using the trademarked phrases and logo, so it would be useful to know what usages are OK in a canonical document.

Yeah, we'll get something drawn up for those cases, definitely makes sense.

I don't think postfix runs on that box anymore, so I doubt you spammed everyone on the old list :slight_smile:
