I intentionally deleted the attribute author from the table comments. When I used functional testing, I got the following message ActiveRecord::StatementInvalid: PGError: ERROR: column "author" of relation "comments" does not exist What should I need to do in order to avoid this error message!!!
Don't reference author anywhere.
Perhaps you forgot to remove it from fixtures or factories?
