SAP Crystal Reports alternative

Hi,

Do we have any alternative to SAP Crystal Reports to integrate with Rails ?

I think this is the missing piece in Opensource ecosystem for Web applications.

I found this but looks complicated to understand.

Iā€™m using Crystal Report 10 years ago and not missing it at all.

Currently, Iā€™m using echarts and manually write the ActiveRecord or raw SQL to feed data to frontend. all open source solution and business logic in code instead of drag and drop.
