Ruby on Rails Developer opportunity in Orange County

Hello All,

Let me start by asking forgiveness, if I have shown any ignorance of Ruby on Rails principles, this is actually the first position looking of the technology I have seen. Feel free to correct my errors.

I have a client who is looking to fill a full-time Contract to hire developer role. They are located in south Orange County, Ca. What I need is a solid e-commerce Ruby on rails developer, who also has experience with AJAX. Additional experience with ASP and .NET, XML, and HTML/DHTML or pluses. Another requirement is knowledge of cross-browser/cross-platform client application development (IE, Firefox, Mac OS, Safari,) and open source IDE (such as Eclipse or IntelliJ/TogetherJ).

Roles and Responsibilities:

  •  Develop an e-commerce website

    on Rails platform using Ruby.

  •  Develop open source software

    modules using Ruby

  •  Develop content management

    system using Ruby on Rails

  •  Create unit test cases while

    developing code

  •  Create detailed design documents

    for major projects

  •  Manage change management

    requests and code migrations

  •  Work with client managers and

    design teams to review and elaborate project requirements, estimate development effort and implement quick proof.
