We are looking for a backend developer (future CTO) for Lobster (http://ilobster.it).
We believe that users’ social content (Instagram, Flickr, then Soundcloud, Devianart, Vimeo etc etc) should be treated with same respect as professional IP, and that people should be able buy it fairly from each other and not copy-paste without permission. We’ve launched the first version of the marketplace in Nov ’13, now need to scale and add new platforms, growing a lot since we have won a place at Wayra UK accelerator.
Key skills include Ruby, MongoDB / Databases, Elastic search, APIs, Scalability. Personality: driven by new things and motivated to build things, think outside of the box, solve impossible tasks (because what we do doesn’t yet exist elsewhere). Renumeration: salary + stock option + cash bonus upon next investment + very cool Wayra startup offices near Euston (free beers, table games, showers… ). Interesting talks and meet ups in house.
