Hello everybody - nice to meet all of you,
I am a clumsy developer and trying to learn more and give back where I can. I have recently started work on a gem (2 in fact, but only 1 is released). It’s called ModernTW-Confirms and it is a drop-in replacement for the default browser dialogs confirms, with tailwind.
Pain point? Well, to be honest I really dislike the design of browser dialogs on desktop and find it quite ugly. This aims to fix that with no hassle, providing with nice, easy to edit modals replacements for those dialogs.
The code isn’t perfect and I still have some updates in mind, but it does the job fine right now. You can get it from here RubyGems.
As a todo, based on feedback from people in the community is to change the initializer to accessor methods. The latest update (done today) disables the replacement for mobile browsers (as the browser dialogs on mobile look decent compared to desktop - based on user feedback aswell).
Thank you!
