+1 on Rimuhosting. They’re a new zealand company, but their servers are located in the US.

I also know people that are very happy with layeredtech.com and bytemark.co.uk.

Didn’t he ask for managed dedicated server ?

layeredtech is not managed. I’m not sure if rimu is managed or not.
