I used the will_paginate plugin and I've been very happy with it. There was a rendering error in one version of IE7 (but not on FF and Opera) but that went away when I upgraded to the latest version of something. Probably the latest version of will_paginate.

I haven't looked at the cardboard rocket thing. For all I know it's even better.
