We are looking for a talented Ruby on Rails developer to work on a short-term project. The work will involve rewriting an old Ruby application in Rails and integrating it with a new Rails site.
Required knowledge and experience:
• Solid knowledge of both the Ruby language and the Ruby on Rails framework • Expert knowledge of MySQL • Comfortable with Javascript, CSS and Ajax technologies • Experience using Subversion • Comfortable working with the entire application stack from database to web interface
You must be able to produce quality code in reasonable time and meet deadlines. Regular communication over IM and email is required. Candidate located in the Boston area would be preferred.
