[ADV] New Pragmatic Book on Prototype and script.aculo.us

I'm happy to announce that "Prototype and script.aculo.us" by Christophe Porteneuve is now available in Beta, and will be in print this fall.

If you code Rails applications, the chances are good that you'll want to include Ajax features. To some extent, you can get away with copy-and-paste coding, and it all just works. But it you want to get down and dirty, then you'll need to know what's going on in the browser, and you'll want to exploit the full power of both Prototype (to code Javascript at a convenient, high level) and script.aculo.us (for all those cool visual effects). This is the definitive book for these two frameworks.

Available now (in beta) from http://pragmaticprogrammer.com/titles/cppsu/
