Why is my custom onts still not found

I made a folder called assets/fonts, added in config/assets.rb but still the fonts are not found.

The code so far can be found here : GitHub - RoelofWobben/ruby_blog

Can someone help me figure this out.

Try adding //= link_tree ../fonts to app/assets/config/manifest.js.

sorry, no luck

I still see this errror on the console

ActionController::RoutingError (No route matches [GET] "/assets/fonts/helveticaneue_medium-webfont.woff2"):

and Im sure it here :

You are colse. Replace:

src: font-url('helvetica_neu_bold-webfont.woff2') format('woff2'),
font-url('helvetica_neu_bold-webfont.woff') format('woff');

and replace:

src: font-url('helveticaneue_medium-webfont.woff2') format('woff2'),
font-url('helveticaneue_medium-webfont.woff') format('woff');

Now I have to find out why this happens:

when I want to enter something in the text-field or text-area I type over the label and that is not what I expect. I was expecting that the label is moving a little upwards.

I guess you are trying to do something similar to Text Field from Material Component Web, do you have any code in your app that you are expecting to do this but it’s not working?

yep, but I try to convert a bootstrap 4 template. this one : Original - Lifestyle Blog Template

and on that page. When I want to enter something the label moves and on my site is does not move so the label and typed text is mixed.

Right now no idea why ?

I’m not sure, but maybe you also need some of their JS files:

I added all but still no luck.

Actually you don’t need JavaScript for this, I played with your app a little and looked at the source code of that theme, you just need to move the labels to the bottom and add required: "" to the inputs.

<%= form_for @article do |form| %>
 <div class="row">
   <div class="col-12 col-md-6">
      <div class="group">
        <%= form.text_field :title, required: "" %>
        <span class="highlight"></span>
        <span class="bar"></span>
        <%= form.label(:title)%>
    <div class ="col-12">
       <div class="group">
          <%= form.text_area :title, required: "" %>
          <span class="highlight"></span>
          <span class="bar"></span>
          <%= form.label(:body)%>
    <div class="col-12">
      <%= button_tag "reply", type: "submit", class: 'btn original-btn' %>
<% end %>

Thanks a lot, Did not realize that where the label is put could make such a difference. Finally it works.
