Using date select in rails.

Hey,

When I use date select in rails it gives me this really weird string. How can I make a date selector in my view that the gives me a value that can be used straight in a find query. I end up with an sql error when I use date_select in my view.

Any advice?

you should be able to just plug it in the query,i believe. Otherwise, first extract the date components and create a new object.
