set_table_name doesn't take effect immediately

Hi,

I opened a lighthouse ticket for this half an year ago but it’s been marked as ‘stale’ recently while it still exists in edge rails … I uploaded a patch there, including a test case. Dunno who should be assigned to, anybody can check?
