Hi, Ruport uses PDF::Writer for its base library, so that means our UTF support is nonexistent. :-/ However, there are a couple folks looking to write plugins to wrape FPDF as well as RCairo, you might sign up on the ruport-dev list if you're interested in helping out with that:
