I recall awhile ago someone asked about using ruby-mode for .rjs and .rxml files in emacs. The following works for me:
(add-to-list 'auto-mode-alist '("\\.rxml$" . ruby-mode)) (add-to-list 'auto-mode-alist '("\\.rjs$" . ruby-mode))
