Rails3, default render :action for controller methods

Hi

I am migrating my rails2 app to rails 3.0.1. I have this problem.

For instance if I have a method in foo_controller that says:

class FooController < ApplicationController   layout "foo"

  def bar   end

end

With rails 3, unless I add the following to method "bar", the layout is not rendered.

def bar   render :action=>"bar", :layout=>"admin" end

Am I missing something obvious somewhere?
