Problems with rake

I receive an error when I try to create or setup database using rake command. Rake is installed.

Error: bash: /opt/local/bin/rake: /opt/local/bin/ruby: bad interpreter: No such file or directory. Is it not in the path but how come I can to gem list show the gems?

Please help

gem list

Could you try uninstalling rake and installing it again and see if that helps? Others have had success doing that
