New Server - Looking for help on Apache / Mongrel install

Building 1st Linux server. I am looking for help on how to set up Apache 2.2 with Mongrel on CentOS server.

I read through the Apache Conf file. It is somewhat intimidating

Any good how tos would be appreciated.

Mongrel has a pretty good apache tutorial on their rubyforge page.

I thinking I would do a nginx + mongrel-cluster. On top of Centos.
