I'm searching for a pop up modal window plugin for rails that would work in IE and firefow. It seems redbox doesn't work in IE by now. I'm looking for something a little bit fancy like http://nyromodal.nyrodev.com/ but for rails. I've been searching quite a lot and it seems the best plugin would be redbox or lightbox gone wild, but then is there a way to customize the way the modal popup appears ?

Just a recommendation, I’m not a guru on it. We used it at my old job for a short while.
I'm currently doing some research into this myself. I'm experimenting with prototype-ui right now, but am open to other possibilities.

Wow, I jus checked ModalBox and it looks really good there is a rails plugin and a ModalBox Google group
