merge two flv files

Hi all. I am using ffmpeg to convert my video files to flv format. Now i need to merge or join two flv files. Any suggestions??

Thanks Arpit

Not Rails related at all, but here we go:

Second google search result:

http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=ffmpeg+join+flv+files&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8

http://lists.mplayerhq.hu/pipermail/ffmpeg-user/2007-February/006849.html

And if u’re doing this from your Rails app, i would strongly suggest handing it over to backgroundrb for processing.

Best regards

Hi.    I have used ffmpeg to convert video files to flv format and mencoder to merge them.Mencoder merge the two flv files into one file that is in avi format. But i need the resultant file in flv format. So i again applied ffmpeg command on the merged file and got the flv file.   Now i am using backgroundrb process to handle all this, but i want to do it in the action of controller or any model function.Ffmpeg works fine but mencoder is creating issues.I have got the error that input file is truncated while running mencoder command. Any suggestions??

Thanks

Here is a step by step guide on how to join multiple FLV files at:

It also applies to join MP4, AVI, MOV, WMV, MKV, ASF, MP3, WAV, AAC, AC3, FLAC, etc on both Mac and Windows.

It also allows you to merge FLV files w/o re-encoding.
