Ruby on Rails developers

We are a seed funded web product startup based out of Hyderabad. Looking to hire full time developers with:

  • Strong programming skills

  • Strong computer science fundamentals

  • 1 to 3 years of experience developing web applications on the LAMP stack

You must be genuine, passionate, entrepreneurial, excited about building a great company and having a lot of fun along the way. We are looking for people that view this as a lifestyle choice and not just a job. A degree doesn’t matter, but how smart you are does.

Required proficiency with:

  • Ruby and/or Python
  • HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, jQuery, Prototype
  • Rails framework
  • MySQL (SQL)
  • Linux

Good to have:

  • Source code management using Git / Github
  • Capastrino, Rspec, Cucumber
  • Web 2.0 APIs like facebook, twitter, google
  • Cloud computing environments like Amazon EC2, S3

Role and Responsibility:

  • Brainstorm and prototype new concepts and approaches fast. Turn prototypes into real things.

  • Architect, build, test and refine new products and services.

  • Tackle a wide variety of coding problems throughout the stack.

  • Produce clean, scalable, well-documented code

  • Be a team player in a flat-structured, highly collaborative environment.
