id takes the place of the format param (3.1.0.rc4)

I have a resource called quote_request and in my routes.rb I do

resources :quote_requests

rake routes outputs:

             quote_requests POST /
quote_requests(.:format)
{:action=>"create", :controller=>"quote_requests"}
         new_quote_requests GET /quote_requests/
new(.:format) {:action=>"new", :controller=>"quote_requests"}
        edit_quote_requests GET /quote_requests/
edit(.:format) {:action=>"edit", :controller=>"quote_requests"}
                            GET /
quote_requests(.:format)
{:action=>"show", :controller=>"quote_requests"}
                            PUT /
quote_requests(.:format)
{:action=>"update", :controller=>"quote_requests"}
                            DELETE /
quote_requests(.:format)
{:action=>"destroy", :controller=>"quote_requests"}

I don't see the ID anywhere

also link_to "Foo", quote_requests_path(@quote_request) outputs "/
quote_requests.1" instead of "/quote_requests/1"

I am using rails 3.1.0.rc4

My bad, I was using resource instead of resources
