How to deploy my sample application

Hi all,            I heard i can deploy my sample application with the help of heroku... please help me how to do that? what are the steps to follow?

Heroku provides a very good tutorial about deploying to them.

If I recall correctly it summarizes in installing heroku gem and then running heroku deploy. But if you have questions about a specific step of the deployment, feel free to ask, but please give more detail about what you have tried, what happened and what you would have expected then.
