Could not find RubyGem sqlite3-ruby (>= 0)

Hi all,

I just copied a small project from my computer to my vps. When I try to
run rake db:migrate I get the error:

"Could not find RubyGem sqlite3-ruby (>= 0)"

Here's the output with trace:

(in /home/ed/blog_branch)

I do have sqlite3-ruby installed though.
Any suggestions?

Thanks a lot,
Eddie

Problem solved.

I was using ruby 1.9.1. I deleted all my gems and reinstalled everything
with 1.9.2, and now it all work.

Hello,

I had the same problem for a long time, and every forumtopic was quite
old, only solved for Ruby1.8+Rails2.3.X. Finally I solved this way:
installed RVM, with that I upgraded to Rails 3, set Ruby1.9 as
default, then:
gem install sqlite3,

and in the Rails app I created, in the Gemfile:
gem 'sqlite3-ruby', :require =>'sqlite3'
then bundle install, update... you will find your way.

Anyway may I ask your Ruby, Rails, Gem versions, and which OS you use?
Feel free to write me private if it still doesn't want to work.
Cheers,
Zoltán
