I just can't find my way around that post. I renamed the (fstab.sample) to (fstab) and I edited the file with the following contents.

C:\Ruby192\devkit\mingw\lib\gcc\mingw32\3.4.5 C:\Ruby192\devkit\mingw\libexec\gcc\mingw32\3.4.5

After i tried reinstalling mysql2 but I ended up with the same error message I posted earlier.

is it something am doing wrong? Am absolutely new to both Ruby and RoR. Below is the gems i have installed.
