application.rhtml.erb not being used

Hi All,

I'm working through the updated rolling with rails tutorial ( for Rails 2.0.2 ) via the screencast at rubyplus.org & I've got the point where the auto generated layouts have been replaced with a global application.rhtml.erb - but for me, it is not used.

Does just the application name mean it gets automatically used, or do I need to do something else to make it get used by the recipes and categories index.rhtml.erb

Answering my own question...

When i created the file I gave it an extension of .rhtml.erb instead of .html.erb
