vlad problem with rake 0.8.1 - revert to rake 0.7.3

Incase anyone is having trouble with rake 0.8.1 and vlad:

I was using ruby 1.8.6 and rails 2.0.2

Same problem occurs with 0.8.0, for what it's worth. Version 0.7.3 is
the key.
