As a Software Development Manager you will lead a fast growing team of software engineers in the Austin office. You will leverage your refined skills working with product and business teams, transforming business goals and requirements into reality. By your example, you will recruit, train, lead and mentor an exceptional team of engineers with a strong team-oriented culture.
CORE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Knowledge & Experience *Lead Engineer level abilities in Ruby on Rails * Knowledge and drive to apply good software process * Previous management experience in software engineering * Previous development experience in RoR
2. Skills & Abilities * Ability to architect new features (UML experience a plus) * Willingness to be hands-on * Can-do, no-job-below-you mentality
3. Education * Computer Science degree strongly preferred * MBA a plus
