I looking into a search functionality to provide a "search within results" option.
Not sure how to go about it. Any ideas?
I'm looking for way to do this too actually. Except that I don't have
actual need for it yet 
I guess if you are using something like thinking sphinx, you could just append current search keywords with new search keywords and do another sphinx search. Just a thought.
