I would love to see a project like rescript compiler (which emphasizes functional programming) that targets ruby instead of js, allows for gradual typing. I like how rescript is simpler than typescript. I understand sorbet exists, but I imagine it is closer to typescript in approach. I will read about sorbet as I get time.
