Output on Windows

I was using Instant Rails on older XP and now have upgraded to Vista and decided to get away from instant rails and installed all the components seperately. I have been able to get it to work fine except that once starting the server thcommand line screen produces a lot output. i think it might be coming from acts_as_ferret but not entirly sure. but regardless the app apperas to be running sloer and nt sure why. do i need to start the app in a special non-verbose way?

Output you get is probably log. Try to turn off logging.

the refernces i have found to turnging off logging refer to logging the log file not to the output screen where i started the app
