Description of Role:
The candidate will have access to the senior business owners’ right down to the individual contributors. The assist account manager will be extremely focused on building business-critical SEM campaigns for the US clients. Longer term, the candidate will be involved in building the India Assist team and mentor candidates in his/her team. The candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams in India and the US. In order to be successful in this position, the candidate is required to understand the Our client’s product offering, internal tools and technology that we use in our current day-to-day operations.
The role will involve:
•
Building, restructuring and optimizing PPC campaigns for clients.
•
Provide clients with product and analytical support, placing a primary
focus on ROI.
•
Cultivate an advisory relationship, includes providing ActEngine™
optimization rationale.
•
Responsible for any or all components of the client account, including
keyword expansion, bid adjustments, ad copy, budget allocation, and execution.
•
Identify and propose new opportunities based on market conditions.
•
Reporting provided on a weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly basis to
summarize opportunities and previous period results based on the package
purchased by the client.
•
Analysis provided, when necessary, with reporting. Delivery frequency is
determined by the Assist package purchase by the client.
•
Launch new search marketing programs for Our
client’s clients (Pro and Assist).
•
Complete internal reports to help determine health of the business.
•
Serve as the internal customer champion helping to define and influence
the direction of Our client’s’s products and
services.
•
Provide feedback to the ActEngine™ team to propose new algorithms and
refine existing algorithms.
•
Enforce, critique, and provide feedback for current processes as well as
recommending new processes.
•
Assist in the training of Account Associates in the long term.
•
Should look forward to being the SEM domain expert for the India office.
Minimum Job requirements:
•
3-4yrs of experience of SEM experience. Enthusiastic and passionate
about search engine marketing.
•
Prior experience in building PPC campaigns, restructuring and optimizing
SEM campaigns is a must.
•
Well organized and able to multitask.
•
Ability to handle pressure and work to deadlines. Prior experience of
handling US clients is a plus.
•
Proven proficiency with Microsoft Excel 2007/2003. Knowledge of
SQL, MS-Access, SPSS and database concepts recommended.
•
Very good analytical skills with experience applying statistical
modeling.
•
Extremely good communication skills to work in a cross-cultural team.
•
Thought leadership and independent critical thinking capabilities.
