Hi everyone. There is probably a simple answer to this but I can't seem to figure it out.
When I scaffold a model with a foreign key, that field doesn't show on CRUD pages created. What gives?
I have a group and events table and I'd looking was expecting the scaffolding to to automatically create a drop down menu on the events pages to select a group it belongs to.
I found http://wiki.rubyonrails.org/rails/pages/Scaffolding+Extensions+Plugin that does this automaticly, but it just seems so obvious that it would be a part of the standard scaffolding generator.
I also tried the Ajax Scaffolding extensions but it didn't show the foreign key fields either.
Thanks anyone for you help! As you can probably tell I'm still learning Ruby and Rails.
