Changing welcome#index page in the new Rails applications

I am proposing to change the style of the index page of the newly created Rails applications to something like this:

Is that suitable, so I can issue a PR with it or no?

Looks good to me. I would hide the box on the right by default. Please submit a PR for it :slight_smile:

How about adding a link to the routing page while we’re at it.

Given that Rails isn’t a front-end lib, maybe we could just go with something like http://motherfuckingwebsite.com/?

I like it - it’s more inline with the styling of the rails guides. That’s a nice touch.
