I know it's completely off topic, but I am having such a hard time with this that I thought maybe I might be able to get some answers here.
I'm a Rails developer recently forced into a Java Seam/Richfaces project. The presentation layer is so convoluted with stuff that it's virtually impossible for me to get the kind of presentation I want without creating multiple XML configs and CSS files. In fact, I really don't know if it's possible at all to really fully customize a Seam app using Richfaces. It's a nightmare coming from a Rails background into Seam.
Does anyone have a similar experience (because the JBoss Web site is absolutely no help)?
